Lyfshort started in 2016 when Steve Fitzjohn (Founder) and partner Jess were traveling around Thailand, booking and managing information for a range of transport, accommodation, restaurants and recreational activity providers, often not travelling together, needing to share information and communicate about it.
This ended up being an extremely time consuming, disconnected and often infuriating experience. Trying to save and manage all this information in one place then communicate and collaborate around the details was a nightmare.
Ending up using a range of disconnected travel, messaging and social media apps, spreadsheets and software tools, accompanied by a spaghetti of email, SMS and messaging threads, none of which were really designed for this purpose.
In this digital age it should have been a lot easier. Challenge accepted … hello Lyfshort!
